About this site

The Land Between is a registered charity that is free from the Indian Act, and therefore is a neutral party to “incubate” and support the creation of the land trust.

Once the Anishinaabek Land Trust is formed, it will become independent from the Land Between charity, and will be entirely Indigenous. Charitable registration is planned for late 2026.
